Our Story

Our story begins with a backcountry ski trip with mutual friends who all love the outdoors as much as we do. We had Feuerzangenbowle for New Year's, enjoyed lots of powder, and bonded over challenging conditions.

As luck would have it, we ended up driving back to San Francisco together. We took turns controlling the car stereo to share our favorite silly songs, switching between English and German both in our choice of music and in our wide-ranging conversation.  The four-hour car ride never got boring!

We couldn't wait to start a family together and were blessed with Nicolas's arrival in December of 2022. Now we are looking forward to making our union official and celebrating with all of you.
